It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 38th NSW Dorset Championships to be held on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd June at Cowra Showgrounds. We are looking forward to having an excellent line up of Dorset sheep.
The Dorset Horn classes, Schools’ classes and Poll Dorset rams will be judged on the Friday and the Poll Dorset ewes and Groups will be judged on Saturday morning. There will be a dinner on Friday evening.
This year, the Central West NSW region has reunited with the Cowra Show Society in presenting the show, and it will be run along similar lines as past years. The Show Society has assumed the administration duties of the show.
The judge of this year’s show is Mr Wallace Binnie, and we welcome him and his wife Sue to the event. Wallace is well known to many breeders over the years through his ownership of the Coledale Stud, and we look forward to his appraisal of the sheep presented.
