The owner of each flock registered with the APDA shall be a full member so long as the flock remains registered.

Full Membership benefits include:

• Breed, register and sell pedigreed Poll Dorsets
• Benefits derived from APDA’s marketing, promotion and communications activities targeted to further grow and develop the Poll Dorset breed
• Ability to certify animal health (eg, Brucellosis Accreditation)
• Exhibit sheep at various agricultural shows and events
• Sell rams at multi-vendor events eg. Australasian Championships
• Use of APDA logo
• Access to APDA website, including the opportunity to advertise and be included on the national calendar of events
• Attend APDA National Conference and other specialised training and educational events
• Join regional, state and national Poll Dorset bodies and hold office
• Vote in Board elections and on other issues which help frame the future of the organisation and the breed
• A copy of the Poll Dorset Journal (3 issues annually)
• Access to special insurance offers through WFI
• Receive a copy of the most recent published Flock Register

An associated member can be any person with a special interest in a registered Poll Dorset flock.

Associate Member benefits include:

• Benefits derived from APDA’s marketing, promotion and communications activities targeted to further grow and develop the Poll Dorset breed.
• Use of APDA logo
• Access to APDA website, including the opportunity to advertise and be included on the national calendar of events
• Attend APDA National Conference and other specialised training and educational events
• Join regional, state and national Poll Dorset bodies and hold office
• Vote in Board elections and on other issues which help frame the future of the organisation and the breed
• A copy of the Poll Dorset Journal (3 issues annually)
• Access to special insurance offers through WFI
• Receive a copy of the most recent published Flock Register

An Annual member can be any person with a special interest in the breed and the Association.

Annual Member benefits include:

• A copy of the Poll Dorset Journal (3 issues annually)
• Attend the APDA National Conference and other specialised training and educational events
• Join regional and state meetings and events
• The invitation to attend all meetings, (without voting rights)

Junior members without their own flock and aged under 18 years will be eligible to apply for an annual subscription of $22 (GST inc). Junior members with their own flock can apply for membership at half the initial joining fee, and receive a further 50% off the flock subscription fee for a period of three years unless they turn 21.

Schools receive 50% off the flock subscription fee.
