We would like to invite you to the 40th NSW Dorset Championships, on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June 2026.
This year we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the show and we are looking forward to celebrating this milestone. The NSW Central West Region of the Australia Poll Dorset Association with the Cowra Show Society in presenting the show along similar lines as past years. We look forward to celebrating 40 years of the show and more at the 40th anniversary dinner on Friday evening.
We welcome George Carter as our judge. He is well known to many breeders and is the current Australian Poll Dorset Association President and we look forward to his appraisal of the sheep presented.
The season has broken to some extent and is looking good for the most part and hopefully leading to strong entries this year.
We thank Bromar Engineering for again sponsoring the Supreme exhibit.
Our other regular sponsors and donors have once again shown strong support for the show.
Our schedule is set up to give sheep of all ages and studs of all sizes and showing experience a great opportunity to do well in the ring.
We have already had several enquiries from schools about the schools’ section and are looking forward this leading to good attendance.
